Of the chicken: There are photos of her with chickens, taken at Moshav Halalal, in pre Israel, then called Palestine. A moshav is a type of cooperative agricultural community, similar to a kibbutz, which is a communal agricultural farm. See the photo of her with chickens in this newspaper website article:
Hannah Senesh was born July 17, 1921 in Budapest, Hungary. Her surname is also spelled as Szenes in English. She joined a Hungarian Jewish Zionist youth movement and learned Hebrew. She graduated school in 1939 and emigrated to (pre-Israel) Palestine. She moved to a kibbutz, and joined the Haganah, a pre-state Jewish military group. On March 14, 1944, she parachuted into Yugoslavia to aid anti-Fascist partisans. At the Hungarian-Yugoslavian border, she was arrested by Hungarian gendarmes (police).
~
She was imprisoned, tortured, and lost teeth. She refused to divulge information about other partisans and others with her who had parachuted into Yugoslavia. On November 7, 1944, she was executed by firing squad, on orders of the Fascist Arrow Cross government. The Arrow Cross regime was directly responsible for the murders of tens of thousands of Jewish and Romani Hungarians. That is aside from the 400,000 Jewish Hungarians who were transported to the Nazi death camps in Nazi occupied Poland.

A diary Hannah Senesh kept was posthumously published in Hebrew and later in English, as "Hannah Senesh- Her Life and Diary." It may have been printed in other languages, too.
~
She was also a poet and a playwright. A verse she wrote, titled "A Walk to Ceserea," is commonly called Eli Eli, and it became famous as a Jewish song. That translates as "My God, My God."
Among singers who have performed it was the popular Israeli singer Ofra Haza (1953-2000).

The imagery at upper right is of a beloved studio assistant, Blanche DuBoid, a parakeet She was a born singer. Sadly, she passed from a bad cold, December 2, 2023. She is missed.
~
At lower left I drew a holy chicken. And elsewhere, there are allegorical sea monsters.
How many do you see?

The 2 drawings, at left and right, are pieces saved from a large drawing, made in 1990-1991, which was never framed and was disassembled several years ago. That art was titled "A History of Jewish Writing from the Ten Commandments to the 20th Century." See videos of that work when it was exhibited in a World Calligraphy exhibit at Seattle Central College back around 2016. Videos of that work, when it was a singular and very large work, are viewable in my Youtube videos.
