On Sept. 20, 2024 I began a portrait of Virgil Ware, a 13 year old African American youngster who was shot to death by a white teenager in Birmingham, Alabama on Sept. 15, 1963. Another African-American youth, Johnny Robinson, was murdered that afternoon, too. That morning four African American girls were murdered in the bombing of a Christian church by terrorists of the Ku Klux Klan. Virgil was born Dec. 6, 1949.

Decades later, now former President Trump led a successful campaign for president which including his years of national leadership of the ‘Birther’ race hate campaign targeting now former President Obama and his family, American blacks and blacks worldwide.

Mr. Trump has never apologized for his race hate, which continues on to this day.
He hasn’t apologized for his Third Reich, Der Sturmer Nazi newspaper inspired

2016 campaign meme image of a photo of Mrs. Clinton, money and a Star of David. His hatred of Hispanics, Hispanic Americans, Asians, Asian Americans, Muslims and Muslim Americans, and of the disabled is staggering and unrepentant.

This drawing footage is of Oct. 16, 2024 while working on the imagery of the allegorical sea monsters, including writing with words.

This is a companion drawing to SWD 58, which thematically addresses the racism of Trump, the millions of Republicans who support him; the history of the Ku Klux Klan and the Klan's murder of 4 girls in their bombing of a church in Birmingham, Alabama, Sept. 15, 1963. That afternoon Virgil Ware and another black youngster, Johnny Robinson, were murdered by white teens.
