I don’t recall the inspiration for this work.

I have 2 extant proofs (see images) each signed and dated
7/27/74 (July 27, 1974).

The blue and black proof is printed on white rice block- printing paper.
The blue and black proof with a tan background color was printed on construction paper.
I still have the blocks and I plan to print some new proofs. The linoblocks sold in art supply stores back then was very high quality, called battleship lino. The lino blocks sold in art supply stores in subsequent decades are very brittle and fall apart if one tries to do fine detail.
